Simpson speedway is to burst in to action for its first meeting in the 2009/2010 seaon, this Saturday night with round 2 of the Super Six Series of the Australian Wingless Sprints, “these little rockets may have had a name change but they still pack a punch”, said club president Ken Buck.

With a field of 25 wingless sprints it will be any ones game with local favourites, Jeff Judd and Mark Balcombe, trying to set a firm lead in the overall series and will take on their rivals,Paul Drew, Andy Hibbert. “It’s anyone’s game”.

Simpson speedway is also set to hold Round 2 of the Autobarn Series for Junior Sedans, as well as Street Stocks, and Micro Sprints on the program.

With gates open at 6pm racing from 7pm this Saturday night only at Simpson speedway
